New Tofu Recipe! Kid Approved

 photo 180x180_g5_zpsd93d09c4.jpg

I found gluten free pasta shaped like ducks at the commissary! To go with our ducks, I made up another new tofu recipe! I pressed the tofu for 24 hours or so in my Tofu Xpress and then I cut it into squares, because I usually just do rectangles.

1/2 cup veggie broth
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp nooch
1 tsp Penzey's Mural of Flavor

At 400ยบ I baked the tofu (in the sauce - I am too last minute to marinate things) for 20 minutes, then I flipped it and gave it another 10.

The kid and I loved this and it was, as all good tofu recipes are, good cold.

That spice mixture sounds really good. I might have to swing by Penzey's because you know I go past there almost every day. So proud of the kid for going beyond plain tofu.
