Some kindly vegans told me that while I was visiting my hometown of Mystic, CT, I should try Pizzetta in downtown Mystic. When I realized that Pizzetta was in the same place as an old Peace Frogs store, I figured it had to be good, and we stopped by for a try. Thankfully, they have a small parking lot for patrons, so we didn't have to pay to park.
When we went inside, we really liked the space - there's a nice orangey color on the walls, and pretty wood floors, and it's decorated with some colorful local art. I was amused to notice that the ceiling fan had an old colander attached to the light.
We looked over the menu (the hubs got a lobster mac and cheese and was pretty thrilled about it) and I didn't see anything I wanted. When the owner came over, I mentioned being a vegan, and he disappeared for a moment and came back with a really large vegan menu!
Despite the amazing selection, I ended up getting a cheese (daiya) pizza so that the kiddo would eat some. It was a nice thin and crispy crust, and there was garlic on it and it was pretty wonderful.
To drink the kiddo and I had Izze "sodas" and the hubs had some local beer from Beer'd that he loved.
We are now big fans of Pizzetta, and will definitely go back every time we're in town. Cute space, nice owner, yummy food! Totally awesome.

What a great menu, and I love the "good for you" comment :)
Ha! I didn't even notice that :) I was too excited by the number of choices.
what an awesome menu!
Wow! What a selection! Always nice to see so many choices, thanks for sharing.
I read Mystic as Mystic Falls - ha!
And yum, that pizza looks so good!
I love it when restaurants have a whole separate veg menu! It so rarely happens but it's always so nice when it does.
