Sunday Morning Treat: Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

Photobucket

I made cinnamon rolls for the first time since going vegan (about 7 years ago) a few months ago. They came out pretty well so I figured I'd finally try the pumpkin cinnamon rolls I've seen floating around the internet. I couldn't remember which recipe I'd seen and heard about so I googled and found this recipe from Hell Yeah It's Vegan.

The verdict? They're pretty great - even the husband AND the kid ate some. The next time I make them I'll add some cloves and ginger and some more nutmeg (can you use too much nutmeg?). Yums!

Yum! Boyfriend hates pumpkin, which makes me think I should definitely make these- it's the only chance I have to make cinnamon rolls last long enough that I can get some too!

Those look amazing! My mom use to make us the pills bury ones for our birthdays. These look like them!

I'm obsessed with pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Yours look amazing. I like the idea of adding those spices.

Erin, do it!! :D

Muy - thanks!

I'm actually going to retry them today, perhaps even w/ gf flours! Oooh.

I am all about crap-tons of cinnamon in cinnamon rolls, but I'm sure doing more of a "pumpkin spice" thing here would be awesome, too! And maybe, like, a coconut-nog-based icing... okay, maybe I'm getting a little out of hand here. ;) Looks great (and I totally wanna see your gluten-free version if you do one)!
