Stew!

Okay, this isn't gluten free. But I had a bag of Gardein Beefless Tips in the freezer and I just wasn't going to throw them out and the kid hates them. So I made stew. I modified the heck out of this recipe to include using gluten free bisquick to make the biscuits - I know - I used gf flour and a gluten based product. Silly! In any case, I've never used the GF bisquick before so I don't know if I should have done something else to it, but I just added milk and herbs like the recipe said. The biscuits were edible, but not really worth eating. Otherwise the stew was good! I feel a little foggy and heavy after eating it, but that was to be expected. And I'm sleepy.

Here is the AFR scramble with arugula this time! Topped with the Caesar Chavez dressing again, but this time I made it with red miso - still good! (I made it with sweet white miso last time.)

Here's the biryani with eggplant chickpea curry (without the tomatoes). I didn't really love it, but I did modify it and it's possible my chickpeas were at the end of their lifespan. Kiddo HATED this meal - she made such a face at it.

I love tofu + curry! :) And thanks!

She seriously does. A lot of it. I've got some muffins she can have too.

In case you ever need to make that dressing for somebody that can't have soy, it's good with the chickpea miso too ;)
