More AFR and some goodies

Okay, so I can't seem to stay awa from Appetite for Reduction.

Tonight for dinner I made the Tamarind BBQ Tempeh & Sweet Potatoes. I even gave the kid a plate and she ate most of it (didn't finish the tempeh).

Earlier in the day, I realized I had a butternut squash going bad so I made the Butternut Squash Apple soup. I'm sad I couldn't get a picture taken in daylight - it was such a pretty color!

Yesterday I made the Curried Cabbage and Peas. I love curry powder, but this had too much and was too hot for me! Isa suggested watering it down a little and resauteing and/or adding raisins. I'll try that with the leftovers!

I also made the Pear Ginger energy balls from Thrive.

Here's the bulk of the random presents I got from my buddy the pie maker!

No no, not that one! My buddy Karyn. Here's the stuff!

Also, just because I'm proud . . . look! I cleaned my fridge!

I love fridge shots! I would show people mine but it is overloaded with my husbands and brothers things more than mine which are not vegan. Most of my stuff is on the door and in the two bottom compartments of the fridge. Those pear energy balls look great! I also hate when I can't get a good picture of something thy looks awesome:)

I am so jealous of your tidy fridge! Maybe I'll try to clean mine tomorrow ... maybe. I'm worried about what might be growing in there now :\

Carissa - I'm sending you happy wishes that someday you can have a vegan fridge too :) My old fridge had a drawer marked "MEAT" and I actually stuck something over it that said "Proteins" :)

Radio - I know, it can be scary. But it's got to be done!

Three Things-

1. That Temphe stuff looked good!

2. I love the show "Pushing Daisies"!!

3. Your fridge looks great- I hate cleaning mine with a passion, but I just did the other day to make way for groceries. Maybe I should take a picture of it all cleaned out to motivate me to keep it that way!

I am way jealous of your clean fridge. Mine is so overpacked. We can never fit our food in there because it's tiny.
