Swinging, lunch, and a snack for me
Today we spent some time at a local park. When the kiddo was little, she was scared of swings for the longest time. Then, suddenly, she loved them. Then for well over a year and a half, she was scared of them again. Then about two weeks ago, she decided to give the big kid swings a try - and she loved them!
After the park, we made a quick stop at the store so I could get yeast and vinegar so I can make bread later. While we were there, the kiddo started those silly party loaves of bread. She hates seeds so I talked her out of rye at least. Here's her lunch.
And my lunch! The key to making a not very good vegan burger yummy is toppings. Here I have veganaise, ketchup, pickles, lettuce and tomato - all key to the perfect burger for me. The burger is whatever vegan Boca thing.
And here is an adaptation of Averie's protein bar. Her's are yummier, but I had to adapt for my migraine and IBS triggers (so no nut butter - sad!) and I used chocolate protein powder because that's what I had. The nutritional info is here.

The kiddo lunch plate looks yummy! I gotta try those protein bars soon!
Kids are such interesting people. I find it highly adorable that Livi has a love/hate relationship with swings! <3
