My favorite protein smoothie

Okay, so here it is, my favorite protein smoothie. The one pictured is bigger than then one I'll give a "recipe" for, but it was way too big, so there ya go.

1 cup milk (I use soy milk for extra protein but you can use whatever you'd like)
1 banana
1 cup frozen blueberries (I use Maine blueberries, of course!)
1-2 heaping tablespoon(s) vanilla rice protein

Blend! It's really yummy.

Have you tried using any other protein powders? I was gonna grab the rice one, but there's some unflavoured pea stuff for 20$ less.

If it's super vile tasting what's the best way to cover it?

Any protein powder in a beverage can be helped with banana - usually the problem with powders - at least the ones I've had - is texture. I've never had pea protein but I think Luciana has.

I love pea protein! It smells almost toasty in a good way! Not beany at all. I got the Now Foods brand for less than 15 bucks (I think it was 11). Any time I look at the Vega stuff, I cringe.

That is also a ridiculous amount of money for soy whip!

Mmmm, this looks delish!!! Blueberry + banana is my favorite smoothie combo of all time. I like to use vanilla hemp protein from Trader Joe's. I think it's like 10 bucks a container.
