Finally, I met some PPKers and made Isa Pizza!

On separate days, mind you.

From the PPK meet up at Lan Cafe in NYC - the Seitan and water spinach, as recommended by Tofulish - woo hoo! It was so good!!!

Isa Pizza! With white buttons instead of creminis and no kalamata olives.

Valentine cookies! Chocolate covered strawberry cutout cookies!

VwaV Cauliflower Leek Kugel with Almond Herb crust. But with green onions instead of Leeks, cause the stupid commissary doesn't sell leeks. This is it cold and leftover the next day - I wanted it too bad to take pics the first day.

Will got me a cool new camera for Valentine's day, so better pics now!

Meeting you was great! You're so sweet and funny on the boards, and it was great to put a beautiful face to the screen name.

Can't wait to see more Livi Grace pictures. She is so CUTE!!!!

Hi, this is my first visit to your blog and I'm loving your food. I'm so jealous of NYC and Boston bloggers that have PPK communities... that get-together sounds fun!

About how long did it take you to make the pizza? This is one recipe I've been putting off because it seems so involved. Yours looks great!

devil's - well, i cheat some. i have a bread machine that has a dough cycle and i use that to make the dough (65 minutes). then the dough cooks for 10 minutes w/o toppings and then 10 minutes with. and i use bottled tomato sauce. also, i try to make the basil ricotta and pesto ahead of time - those are both quick too - 10 minutes tops to make both of them. does that help? i'm feeling unclear today. :)

Wow - I'm starving after looking at your blog. I want pizza and it's only 10:30. :)

Your daughter is too cute!!! What a sweetie!

Barnes & Noble.com has Veganomicon - I am so excited!! I can't wait to make stuff out of it.

And now to the not-so-fun stuff... if you want to talk fibroids, you can email me: flamingyouth (at) gmail.com. Take care!

PPK rocks. I remember ordering their DVD a couple years ago and wishing I could be as cool as they were.

I *hate* the what do you eat question... I ought to start handing out cards with my blogs address.

p.s. you live from brooklyn (I'm from NYC) so you are correct, we MUST be friends :P
