Well my 2nd appointment was yesterday. I've gained 2 lbs. in a month (which was hard to gauge for me b/c I feel like I'm either eating way too much or not enough on any given day), my iron levels are nice and healthy (higher than most omnis!!) and we got to hear the heartbeat! I'm 10 weeks now, and the doctor said that I was the earliest pregnancy he'd heard a heartbeat for in his 30+ years of being a doctor!!
Guess this means I can keep eating my soy ice cream and soy pudding! Now I just have to fulfill my ice cream craving with Soy Dream's Swinging Anna Banana!! (Think a vegan version of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey!) On the un-vegan side, I really need some butterscotch krimpets from TastyKake . . .
